7th International Conference on Data-Driven Plasma Science
Kiel, Germany, August 3 – 7, 2026
On behalf of the Executive Scientific Committee, we are excited to welcome you to the 7th International Conference on Data-Driven Plasma Science (ICDDPS-7) which will be held at Kiel University, Kiel, Germany from August 3 to 7, 2026. It will bring together a wide range of researchers from around the world to share the latest efforts on application of data science, including artificial intelligence (Al) and machine learning (ML) for plasma science. ICDDPS is an international conference that intends to be the premier forum for researchers from academia and industry to discuss current and future directions in Al and ML applied to plasma science and technology, including but not limited to topics such as plasma processing and nuclear fusion. This annual conference has been held almost every year since the first one in York, UK in 2018. ICDDPS-6 was held in Santa Fe, NM, USA. We hope you will be able to join us in beautiful Northern Germany and looking forward to welcoming you all in person.

The ICCDPS-7 Executive Scientific Committee is soliciting speaker nominations for plenary and invited presentations. Please consider to nominate your recommendation(s) for suitable candidates here. Please nominate potential speakers until November 9, 2025. Thank you!
Organization
The conference is hosted by the research group Theoretical Electrical Engineering at Kiel University in cooperation with Kiel University’s priority research area Kiel Nano, Surface and Interface Science (KiNSIS) and CAU Innovation GmbH.
It is planned as a 4.5-day event and will host an excellent program of invited and contributed speakers as well as a poster session. The conference language is English.
